From Detection to Topology: Mapping Red Deer Trail Networks from Airborne LiDAR
Building on a published LiDAR-based trail extraction workflow, this post describes the further steps of computing trail centerlines and converting them into a topological graph — nodes and edges — that captures the spatial structure of red deer movement corridors in the Oostvaardersplassen.
